The Goose that laid the Golden Egg

This story is one of Aesop's fables.

Poor Tom and his wife, Elena, lived together in a small house.

One day, he found a golden egg in a henhouse.

He went to village to sell it, and he could sell it at a high price. 

He took a golden egg everyday and sold them in a village, so they became rich little by little.

It made them want to more money, so to get more golden eggs, they killed the goose.

But there was no golden eggs in the goose.

After all, they became poor again and never found another golden egg.
