The gingerbread man

Once upon a time, there were a old woman and a old man. They lived together, and they had no children.

One day, a old woman made a boy out of gingerbread.

When she opened the oven door, a gingerbread man jumped out!

He ran away outside, and kept running.

People in the town chased him, but he kept running.

After a while, he came to the river. He couldn't cross it.

Then a fox came to him and said "I'll take you across."

So the gingerbread man jumped on his tail, but he was eaten while the fox went across the river.

It was the end of the gingerbread man.
